MOROCCAN LEATHER BACKPACKS

A backpack takes more than a handbag does: weight falls on the straps, the base scuffs, the fastenings work with every movement. That is why the pieces in this collection are built in full-grain leather, cowhide on the parts that carry and goat leather where softness is needed, then stitched by hand in our workshops in Marrakesh. Closures change from model to model, buckles and straps, drawstring, magnetic clasp, because each piece is designed by the artisan who builds it rather than drawn for a production run. They all patina in the same place, where your hand lands to open it. It is the most used piece in a leather wardrobe, so it is the one that ages most visibly: softer after six months, darker at the points of contact.
